An industrial use case for Erlang and kdb+ . Do you think functional programming is only for academia? We disagree.

KX kdb+ is a column-oriented database engine with a vector-oriented functional programming language with built-in IPC and exceptional performance via utilizing vector instructions and multiple cores.
