The Hungarian Fintech and Start-up ecosystem – workshop at Faculty of Informatics

The Ministry of National Economy and the Commission of the European Union will organise the annual SME Assembly in Budapest on 18-20 November 2024. The SME Assembly is the most important event regarding subject of European enterprise development policy, it is a high-level political and professional forum for discussing current challenges and trends, and one of the tools for implementing the EU SME Strategy. The motto of this year's SME Assembly is "SMEs: shaping the future of Europe". It will focus on topics that contribute to increasing the competitiveness of SMEs, enhancing their access to finance and helping them adapt to the challenges of the modern age.The international event will feature a varied professional programme of plenary presentations and parallel panel discussions on the latest developments in enterprise development, workshops, award ceremonies, project and plant visits, and an exhibition, and will be open to entrepreneurs from the EU Member States and, in particular, to representatives of the institutional system supporting them.

The Hungarian Fintech and Start-up ecosystem workshop organized as part of the event, will be hosted by the ELTE Faculty of Informatics. To showcase the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Hungary the event will be an opportunity for participants to share good practices and engage in a joint dialogue during the panel discussion.
