MSc in Artificial Intelligence

In the Artificial Intelligence Computer Science Master's Program, students are prepared to design, develop, and analyse modern, responsible, and application-oriented artificial intelligence systems. During the course, students acquire up-to-date, in-depth knowledge in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence while also learning about practical applications through real industrial and research problems.

The professional focus of the program includes the principles of artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning, statistical learning theory, computational intelligence, natural language processing and language models, computer and 3D machine vision, reinforcement learning, robotics and ethorobotics, human-machine collaboration, affective computing, as well as multi-agent and collective intelligence methods. The curriculum also covers data analysis, optimisation methods, modern software technologies, and the legal, ethical, and social aspects of artificial intelligence.

The language of instruction is English, with a duration of four semesters, totalling 120 ECTS credits.

Curriculum:

  • Mathematical and natural science foundation courses (10–20 ECTS),

  • Core courses in computer science and artificial intelligence (20–30 ECTS),

  • AI competency development modules (40–50 ECTS),

  • Master’s thesis (30 ECTS),

  • Elective courses (6 ECTS),

  • A minimum 6-week (240-hour) internship.

The program is strongly practice-oriented, with students gaining experience through projects connected to industrial partners and research labs. The program's design supports continuous professional renewal, with the curriculum regularly aligned with the latest state-of-the-art international research and evolving industrial application trends.

More than 20 courses across the full AI spectrum – you choose where to focus:

  • Machine Learning & Deep Learning

  • Generative AI

  • Computer Vision & 3D Vision, AI Robotics

  • Human–Machine Interaction

  • Computational Intelligence

  • Agent-Based Systems

  • Reinforcement Learning

  • Mathematical Foundations of AI & Algorithmic Thinking

  • Responsible, Ethical and Trustworthy AI

The master's program also emphasises responsible artificial intelligence: students become familiar with the legal, ethical, and regulatory frameworks governing AI systems, fostering the development of socially embedded, safe, and transparent technologies.

We welcome applications from those who have earned an IT undergraduate degree or have acquired sufficient knowledge of mathematics, computer science, and informatics through another undergraduate program.

The language of instruction is English, and successful participation requires at least intermediate-level English proficiency.
