Main research areas
My research activities were focussed on the following two fields:
1st field of research Reviewing standards, recommendations, methods supporting equal access to internet-based (collaborative) platforms, investigating concrete platforms from the viewpoint of equal access, developing models for creating accessible e-learning materials, and developing the framework connected to this.
2nd field of research Designing, creating and uploading a knowledge base that relies on the opportunities of the semantic Web and can be used in education, in the framework of collaboration between the students.
The aim of this research is to investigate how the use of Micro:bit microcontrollers and basic robotics tools supports the development of students' competencies in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The research focuses on the enhancement of problem-solving skills, algorithmic thinking, and collaboration through project-based learning involving robotics. Special attention is given to how hands-on, interdisciplinary activities contribute to experiential learning.
