My research focuses on the mechanical engineering applications of digital signal and image processing. Within this field, I am interested in the automatic detection of vibration diagnostic phenomena, such as the automatic detection of cutting conditions and chip types based on tool vibrations during CNC machining. Other areas of signal processing application also fall under this category, such as quality control in manual welding using sensor measurements.
