Cellulose and biomacromolecular materials and technology

I started my scientific activity on the topic of cellulose fibers of various origins at basic and applied research levels. I used mathematical transformations to learn about tree growth characteristics and used histochemical procedures in medical research. In addition to plant cellulose, I also dealt with other cellulose of biological origin as bacterial cellulose and protein-cellulose mixtures such as chitin, chitosan, fibroin, polysaccharide complexes, glucosaminoglycanes and human amyloid fibrils. In the longer term, I consider the development of wastewater treatment processes based on cavitation and the widening of gas treatment solutions built on bacterial cellulose membranes, as well as the understanding of the disorganizations in the crystalline parts of cellulose fibers with photo-acoustic devices, to be an important area of research.
